Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Staff press center as of 6 a.m. March 11.
According to the Staff, Avdiivka remains the hottest and most dangerous point at the Donetsk direction: "The Russian terrorists have committed six mortar strikes on the positions of the Ukrainian servicemen yesterday. Three tank rounds were fired at 7:30 p.m."
It was also reported that strong points near Zaitseve were attacked by snipers and fired at with grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.
"Militants fired at the ATO forces' strong points in Pisky and Opytne in the vicinity of Donetsk with high-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms.
"Russian terrorists attacked the fortified positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Shyrokyne at the Mariupol direction with 120-mm mortars and high-caliber machine guns, and employed 82-mm mortars against position near Hnutove.
"The positions on the outskirts of Marinka were assaulted by an enemy sniper and fired at with grenade launchers, high-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
"The observation scout spotted a five-men strong subversive and reconnaissance group near Troitske around 11 p.m. The Ukrainian soldiers opened fire and forced the enemy to retreat.
"47 attacks on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions have been recorded totally over the past day," the ATO press center reported.
