In the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area, pro-Russian gangs continue shelling Ukrainian Army's strong points using small arms, grenade launchers, as well as mortars of 82-mm and 120-mm caliber.

According to the message, shelling became more intensive at the dusk. Yesterday, the enemy opened fire against Ukrainian strongholds 38 times.

In Avdiivka area, terrorists conducted seven aimed mortar strikes against Ukrainian positions between 6 p.m. and midnight, having fired 80 missiles. Pro-Russian mercenaries also attempted to hit Ukrainian defenses near Pisky, Opytne and Luhanske with mortar fire.

Militants fired at strong points of the ATO forces near Zaitseve, Luhanske, Pisky and Novhorodske from small arms, machine guns and grenade launchers.

Ukrainian positions in Marinka and Shyrokyne were shelled from small arms.

Terrorists also conducted unaimed fire from machine guns and grenade launchers upon ATO strong point near Nevelske, Butivka mine, Troitske, and Maiorsk. After midnight, the enemy's activity decreased. An adjusted machine gun fire was recorded near Hranitne.
