Militants intensified shelling as they violate cease-fire, - ATO press service

Terrorists have once again violated the cease-fire continuing to fire at positions of the armed forces and disrupting the Minsk agreements.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press service.

"According to the press-center of the ATO Staff, 'silence mode' was introduced in the zone of the anti-terrorist operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions today, March 4, starting from 12 a.m. to implement the decision of the tripartite group," the report reads.

Not only hostilities should have been ceased within the 15-kilometer zone from the front line, but also exercises with live fire of any weapon, any caliber, including simulation tools.

Unfortunately, the illegal armed groups once again failed to comply with their promises. The number of attacks has not diminished in the past few days, while their intensity increased. Particularily, 76 mortar shells from 82-mm mortars were fired at Chermalyk. Shyrokyne, Butovka mine, Avdiivka, Opytne, and Krasnohorivka were also mortared. In Shyrokyne, the terrorists used banned 120-mm mortars.

Obviously, the terrorists are not willing to cease fire and, especially, withdraw the heavy artillery from the front line. After all, they understand that any sense in the activities of Russian occupation units will disappear after peace comes back to the Donbas, and they will have no work.

And they are ready to fight, killing civilians and Ukraine's military defenders to keep their bloody work," the report reads.
