"This is a test for the NABU reform efficiency - now we will see how sincere President Petro Poroshenko has been supporting the creation of the National Anti-corruption Bureau, his principled attitude to the fight against corruption, and how fundamentally and consistently NABU will be cutting the PGO leadership down to size," he wrote.
"According to Censor.NET sources in the NABU, the National Anti-corruption Bureau has just received the official refusal of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, represented by acting Prosecutor General Sevruk, to refer the case of 'amber mafia' in the Rivne region to NABU detectives. This is a direct violation of the law on the NABU. The law stipulates that all the cases of corruption of civil servants of the first and second ranks must be referred to the NABU for investigation while any other proceeding may also be referred there," Butusov stressed.
"Should NABU special ops unit storm the Prosecutor General's Office? Mr. President, maybe you should intervene before an APC arrive to Riznytska Street? "Ukraine takes the 142th place among world's nations in terms of corruption according to Transparency International last year's rating. NABU's task is to destroy corruption. The fear and conscience, the law and justice will allow the detectives to achieve it. The time for the crushing blow has come," this was said by President Petro Poroshenko at the NABU detectives submission ceremony held Sept. 15, 2015. Therefore, honorable Artem Sytnyk, please give the relevant order, load missiles into an APC - it is high time to perform the tasks set by the head of state, it's high time to initiate an attack," the journalist concluded.
