As previously reported, French President Francois Hollande and British Prime Minister David Cameron after the meeting in Amiens called on Russia to use its influence on insurgents in eastern Ukraine in order to stop the violence in the region.

The two leaders also urged the government of Ukraine to join efforts in implementing reforms in the country.
