 Violent clash took place near Yasynuvata. ATO forces withstood attack, - Information Resistance

During the past day, the most intensive attacks and clashes were recorded primarily in the area of Yasynuvata intersection.

Coordinator of Information Resistance group MP Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Militants have reinforced the sector by a group (up to an infantry company and a tank platoon) deployed from the south direction (Kruta Balka). After that, they were continuously trying to push the Ukrainian military to the east towards Avdiivka by massive mortar strikes (82-mm and 120-mm) and attacks of small infantry groups supported by tank fire. In particular, the infantry operated in the vicinity of Yasynuvata intersection, 251.2 height, and enemy strong point north of the height. As a result of a violent clash, anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces held their positions," he wrote.

Also, according to Tymchuk, clashes have been registered in the vicinity of Pisky, the Donetsk airport, and Spartak: "In all cases, the enemy actively employed 120-mm mortars and small infantry groups. Several residential blocks in the Petrovskyi district of Donetsk were blacked out due to armed provocations by terrorists."

"In the area of Zaitseve, terrorists used 122-mm artillery, shelling ATO forces strongholds west and northwest of the village. The enemy fired from positions near the Maiorsk car market," he added.
