 Kyiv patrol police use weapons to arrest drunk driver. PHOTOS

Another drunk driver tried to fling off police pursuit in Kyiv. The law enforcers were forced to shoot the tires out and ram the chased car off the road.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Patrol Police of Ukraine.

"The police patrol spotted a black Honda Civic on Saperno-Slobidska Street in the morning of March 1. The car was parked under the over-bridge in violation of traffic regulations. The officers knocked at the window. A man with clear signs of intoxication came out of the car. Having realized that it was the police, he got behind the wheel and started fleeing, exposing to danger lives of other drivers many times," the statement reads.

The pursuit was over in the village of Stari Bezradychi, where several police cars have forced the offender off the track in the dirt and shot out two tires. After that, the driver locked himself in the passenger compartment. The policemen had to literary pull him out of the car smashing the side window. The patrol policemen drew up several administrative reports regarding the driver and wrote a statement of resistance to law enforcers.
