This was announced by Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko at a briefing on Monday, Censor.NET reports.
"On Feb. 25, a truck with two Ukrainian soldiers, moving in the direction of the front line, tripped a landmine. The blast completely destroyed the vehicle, killing one soldier. His body and another soldier were seized by terrorists," he said.
According to him, the incident occurred in the Bakhmut district (the Donetsk region).
Lysenko said that the Ukrainian authorities and military command take every effort to release the captured fighter.
