 Court sentences Lysychansk militant for three years in prison

Lysychansk city court of the Luhansk region sentenced a Lysychansk resident to three years of prison for committing a crime under part 2 article 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (participation in an illegal armed gang) on Jan. 22, 2016.

Censor.NET informs citing the press service of the Luhansk region prosecutor's office.

Earlier, the Luhansk regional prosecutor's office issued an indictment to the Lysychansk city court of a citizen of Ukraine born in 1971, who in June of 2015 actively participated in activities of an illegal armed gang. In particular, he was "servicing" at one of Lysychansk's plants, controlled by the given gang, where he "guarded the premises" armed with a tommy gun.
