 Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee files case against Privatbank

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has filed proceedings over non-submission of information by Privatbank PJSC to the agency.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the press service of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine delivered on Thursday night.

"The Antimonopoly Committee filed information requests to Privatbank, including one containing banking secrecy. However, Privatbank refused to submit such information. In this regard, the Committee has initiated proceedings over failure of Privatbank PJSC to submit information to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine," the press service informed.

As noted, the information was requested within the Antimonopoly Committee investigation, launched into anticompetitive practices of Ukrtatnafta PJSC, Halychyna oil-processing plant PJSC, Halnafta LLC, Prykarpattianaftotreid LLC, Kotlas LLC, Poligonal LLC, and Harant-UTN LLC, aimed to distort the results of the oil and gas condensate sale.

In addition, the Antimonopoly Committee requested Privatbank to submit information under investigation carried out on the same grounds with respect to Ukrheoekolohia LLC and Ukrhazheoavtomatyka oil-processing company.
