 National Council of TV and Radio Broadcast orders reviewing employment visas of Russian journalists

National Council of Television and Radio Broadcast Chairman Yurii Artemenko wants the Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to review employment visas issued to Russian journalists in terms of purpose of their activity in Ukraine.

"I gave a protocol order to address the Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a request to review the work visas issued to Russian journalists... especially of those who came to Ukraine after the war started," he wrote.

Artemenko noted that the National Council can not influence the hiring policy of TV channels but, in his opinion, "the channels themselves should clean up their ranks."
