 Former Berkut soldiers Zinchenko and Abroskin charged of murder of another nine Euromaidan protesters

The Prosecutor General’s Office has accused former members of the Berkut riot police detachment Serhii Zinchenko and Pavlo Abroskin of murder of another nine Maidan activists in February 2014.

The relevant petition was filed by prosecutor of the Special Investigations Directorate of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine Roman Psiuk in the course of hearing in Sviatoshyn district court of Kyiv, Censor.NET reports citing UNN.

The prosecutor requested the jury to consider joint criminal proceedings filed against former Berkut soldiers Zinchenko, Abroskin, Marynchenko, Tamtura, and Yanyshevskyi into murder of 48 people. He appealed to the court to extend their pretrial detention for another two months.

Zinchenko and Abroskin were earlier charged of the murder of 39 people.
