Creation of State Bureau of Investigation deliberately put off by parliament and president, - PM Yatseniuk

President Petro Poroshenko and the Verkhovna Rada have not yet proposed candidates to the commission to select the head of the State Bureau of Investigation.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk declared during the official opening of the patrol police in the Kharkiv region, Censor.NET reports citing depo.ua.

"As the officers of the new police, you apprehend criminals and hand over these criminals to the State Bureau of Investigation. The government has appealed to the parliament and president for them to ensure that the relevant agencies nominated their candidates to the commission that would appoint the head of the State Bureau of Investigation. Unfortunately, such candidates have not been proposed yet. There is a delay in the creation of a new, independent, pro-European State Bureau of Investigation," he said.
