U.S. Vice President Joe Biden held telephone talks with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk calling upon them to unite around the ruling coalition. Censor.NET reports citing the White House.
"He called upon the Ukrainian government "to unite and restore the people's confidence in a strong ruling coalition and reforms, intensify efforts to combat corruption, strengthen justice and the rule of law, as weel as adherence to the requirements of the International monetary Fund (IMF)," the report reads.

The Vice-President also emphasized the importance of implementation of the Minsk agreements by all parties "as the best way forward to resolve the conflict." During the conversation, Ukrainian leaders noted "the continuing failure on the part of Russia and the combined Russian-terrorist forces to comply with their cease-fire commitments."
As it was reported earlier, Poroshenko and Biden coordinated actions during a telephone conversation to further exert pressure on Russia for it to implement the Minsk agreements and restore Ukraine's territorial integrity.
