 Pro-Russian terrorists conducted 55 cases of shelling yesterday, 22 of them upon ATO forces' strongpoints in Marinka, - ATO Staff

In the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area, pro-Russian militants continue shelling Ukrainian positions. Yesterday, 55 cases of cease-fire violation were recorded.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in a report as of 6 a.m. Feb. 19, posted of Facebook.

"The enemy was conducting aimed fire from mortars, grenade launchers and small arms upon strong points of the ATO forces' in Marinka. A sniper and an anti-aircraft gun of the enemy were operating upon 'Marinka' checkpoint.

"Small arms and grenade launchers of various systems were used to fire upon our positions in Pisky, Opytne, Avdiivka, Maiorsk, and Novhorodske. In addition, our strong point in Zaitseve was sprayed by the enemy's mortar fire," the message reads.

The Staff also informed that Ukrainian positions in Starohnativka and Luhanske were shelled by pro-Russian militants from small arms and an IFV.

At the Luhansk direction, Ukrainain positions near Bohuslavske were fired upon with mortars, small arms and grenade launchers.
