Radical Party faction still officially in coalition, - Rada Procedural Committee head Pynzenyk

Acting head of the Procedural Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, People's Front MP Pavlo Pynzenyk refutes the statements of the Radical Party leadership that their faction has seceded from the coalition back in September.

He said this on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Censor.NET parliamentary correspondent reports.

"It is their opinion that no written document is required to secede from the coalition. It still remains just their opinion. Everyone agrees that the Radical Party faction technically remains coalition member since no relevant documents have been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat."

According to the Procedural Committee, the law stipulates for creation of the coalition on the basis of statements submitted by the MPs.

"If the signatures were necessary to join the coalition, they would naturally be required to secede from it," he said

As for the secession of the Batkivshchyna faction from the coalition, Pynzenyk called it a "done deal".

At the same time, Samopomich faction head Oleh Bereziuk has said that his faction not only quits the coalition but also rescinds its signature from the coalition agreement and submits the relevant documents to the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat.
