 Eight cases against Shyrokyi Lan range authorities referred to court, - Main Military Prosecutor Matios

Eight administrative cases filed against the authorities of the Shyrokyi Lan shooting range have been referred to court.

Main Military Prosecutor, Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Anatolii Matios told journalists today, Censor.NET reports citing Liga.

"The criminal case is being investigated. Eight administrative protocols on military confinement of eight senior officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been referred to the court as of today," he said.

Matios noted that all the officers from the deputy battalion commander to deputy commander of the Eastern Operational Command were meant. He added that one of the district courts of Mykolaiv would publicly consider these protocols Feb. 23.

Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine generalship received reprimands for providing inadequate living conditions and food for the soldiers of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade at the Shyrokyi Lan shooting range (Mykolaiv region).

It should be reminded that servicemen of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dissatisfied with living conditions at the at the Shyrokyi Lan range (Mykolaiv region) marched to Mykolaiv Feb. 8 and filed written complaint to the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Mykolaiv Garrison.

Later, Main Military Prosecutor Anatolii Matios said that the agency was preparing a number of arrests of officers due to this incident.
