 Rada adopted "visa-free" law on special property confiscation

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted in the second reading and as a whole the bill No.4054 on improvement of property forfeiture procedures and special confiscation institutions. The adoption of the law is one of the requirements for introduction of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU.

The decision was supported by 252 MPs, Censor.NET's correspondent reports.

At the same time, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Hroisman said before the voting that the true heroes were killed during the Revolution of Dignity two years ago. They laid down their lives for Ukraine to have the real European future.

114 MPs from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction voted for this law together with 72 lawmakers from People's Front, 17 from Samopomich, 17 from Radical Party, 12 from Batkivshchyna, two from Volia Narodu, and 10 non-affiliated MPs. No lawmakers from Vidrodzhennia and Opposition bloc factions have supported the bill.
