 One Ukrainian soldier killed, three wounded yesterday, - ATO speaker

One Ukrainian soldier was killed, three received injuries in the course of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) on Feb. 17.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was announced by Presidential Administration speaker on ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Thursday.

According to him, one soldier was killed and two wounded when tripping a mine placed by pro-Russian militants near Pisky, the Donetsk region.

Another soldier received injuries in militants' shelling of the ATO forces' positions near Marinka, the Donetsk region.

In addition, the ATO forces recorded three flights of enemy drones, two of them at Mariupol direction, and one in Stanytsia Luhanska district of the Luhansk region.

Motuzianyk has noted the increase in volumes of sniper fire by terrorists upon the ATO forces' positions, as well as active used of Minsk-banned mortars and artillery by the enemy.
