 Poroshenko Bloc faction dissatisfied with Cabinet’s achievements, - MP Leshchenko

Members of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary faction consider the work of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine poor.

Poroshenko Bloc faction MP Serhii Leshchenko informed Ukrainska Pravda on the results of the faction meeting, Censor.NET reports.

According to him, if the resignation of the government of Arsenii Yatseniuk is supported by 150 lawmakers, the Poroshenko Bloc faction will vote for this decision as well.

However, a Ukrainska Pravda correspondent clarified that the mentioned decision was taken in the absence of PM Yatseniuk and President Petro Poroshenko, who spoke at a meeting of the faction.

According to the report, Poroshenko meeting with MPs lasted at least for an hour, but he did not express clear position on the government resignation.

The key request of the president was voting for the eight laws necessary for visa-free regime and cooperation with the IMF.

Asked about the government resignation, he said to lawmakers: "I'm not going to put pressure on you. I have come to listen to you."

Poroshenko said that it was better not to tackle the issue of the Cabinet resignation as it raised concerns of the society. The president left the issue at the discretion of the lawmakers.
