 Russian Federation attempts creating 3rd army corps in Rostov region with Ukrainian citizens, - SBU Head

The Russian Federation has been creating the 3rd army corps in the Rostov region, Russia, since December 2015, which is to be manned with citizens of Ukraine.

This was announced by Ukraine's Security Service Head Vasyl Hrytsak, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"As far as we are aware, in December 2015 the Russian Federation started to create its 3rd army corps, which will be stationed in the Rostov region. A commander of the detachment has been appointed, it's a Russian citizen," Hrytsak said in an interview to 5 Channel.

"They are currently drafting citizens aged 25-30, mostly aiming at Ukrainian citizens. But as long as there is almost no desire to fight there, they man with whoever they can catch," the head of SBU added.
