 Poroshenko urged EU to protect Crimean Tatars

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko urged the EU to actively protect the Crimean Tatars on the occupied peninsula.

President Poroshenko declared this during his meeting with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini at the Munich Safety Conference, Censor.NET reports citing the president's press service.

According to Poroshenko, the situation with the rights of the Crimean Tatars on the peninsula reminds Stalin's rule.
