 Number of NABU's potential "clients" makes 22,000 officials, - authority's Director Sytnyk

The number of civil servants who can potentially be probed by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau makes some 22,000 people.

Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Artem Sytnyk said in an interview with Censor.NET.

"Our analytical service categorizes this information. The point is that we focus not only on people occupying certain positions but also on security forces officers with titles," he stressed.

"For example, all the generals, irrespective of their positions, are in the category of persons whose possible corrupt activity falls within the competence of the NABU. All judges - more than 8,000 people. All heads of regional and district state administrations and their deputies," Sytnyk explained.
