 Presidential Administration and Cabinet to develop reform roadmap for IMF, - Minister Jaresko

The roadmap will comprise acceleration of privatization and changes to the corporate governance of state-owned enterprises.

The Presidential Administration and the Cabinet are currently developing a reform roadmap for the International Monetary Fund (IMF), previously agreed by president Petro Poroshenko and IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde. Minister of Finance Natalie Jaresko told journalists, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"We are currently working [on the roadmap - ed.]," she said on Friday.

According to the minister, the roadmap will be intended to accelerate privatization, including the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of all necessary laws.

The roadmap will also address changes to the corporate governance of state-owned enterprises, including the appointment of a new leadership of the largest SOE through competitions in order to avoid political influence over state-owned enterprises as well as to reduce the level of corruption.

According to Jaresko, the roadmap may also stipulate for enacting the submission of electronic income declarations by officials from 2016.
