"One of these heroes is master-sergeant Serhii Ulitenkov. He is a real man's man, a patriot, a loyal friend and brother in arms reliable in any circumstances. These are the words his colleagues and friends speak of him. He has authority either over subordinates and the command of the battalion and military base.
"He directly participated in the battles for the Savur-Mohyla height, villages of Stepanivka and Minusinsk, held the line in Bokove-Platove, Krasna Poliana, Iliria, Lutuhyne, Pisky, Debaltseve, and Luhansk. He was always at the fore-front," the statement reads.
Volunteer and collector Andrii Boiechko said in the course of the awards ceremony: "If people have the right to purchase clothes, footwear, and food for the army, they have the right to decorate as well."
