 US urges Ukraine to continue reforms necessary for cooperation with IMF, - Biden

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden.

The head of state informed Biden on the situation in the Donbas. At the same time, he emphasized that Ukraine didn't see any signs of de-escalation from Russia and pro-Russian militants.

The parties discussed further steps to continue exerting pressure on Russia for it to fulfill the Minsk agreements as well as political-diplomatic solutions for Crimea's de-occupation.

Joseph Biden noted the importance of leadership in these turbulent times. The interlocutors stressed the necessity to proceed with reforms in Ukraine, particularly in view of cooperation with the IMF.
