 Terrorists committed 50 cases of shelling yesterday; hottest spots in Donetsk and Horlivka, - ATO press center

Militants of pro-Russian illegal armed gangs continue violating the cease-fire in the Donbas. Yesterday, they opened fire upon the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces' positions 50 times.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in its report as of 6 a.m. Feb. 11, posted on Facebook.

According to the HQ, the most tense situation is preserved in Donetsk suburbs and Horlivka.

"The enemy was conducting grenade launcher and large-caliber machine gun fire upon the ATO forces' positions in Pisky, Opytne, Avdiivka, and Butivka mine. The enemy shelled Marinka from small arms and grenade launchers seven times," the message reads.

According to the press center's report, the invaders applied mortars, grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns near Horlivka: "Our strong points in Troitske and Novhorodske were shelled from grenade launchers of various systems, and Ukrainian defenses in Maiorsk and Zaitseve were sprayed by enemy's fire from 82-mm and 120-mm mortars. The ATO forces' positions in Krasnohorivka were also covered with mortar fire."

It is also reported that grenade launchers and small arms were used by pro-Russian militants against the ATO forces' strong points near Kodema, Starohnativka, and Novohryhorivka.
