 US Ambassador to Ukraine says IMF statement on Ukraine further argument for zero tolerance for corruption

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt deems the statement made by the International Monetary Fund a further argument for zero tolerance for corruption in Ukraine.

The ambassador wrote on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.

"Further argument here for completing reload of Ukraine's reformer-led government and zero tolerance for corruption, " he wrote.

Earlier, Ukraine's key debt holder the International Monetary Fund expressed concern about the country's slow progress in improving governance and fighting corruption, and reducing the influence of vested interests in policy making.
