Verkhovna Rada Deputy from the People's Front faction, coordinator of the Information Resistance group Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"The militants were actively using large-caliber machine guns and grenade launchers (AGS-17 and SPG-9) to attack the ATO forces' positions in the vicinity of Pisky and Opytne villages. The terrorists employed 82-mm and 120- mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns, and snipers near Marinka," he wrote.
According to Tymchuk, the militants shelled southern and northern outskirts of Krasnohorivka from Staromykhailivka with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars. The ATO forces positions to the east of Troitske were shelled with 82-mm and 120-mm mortars. The militants also attacked the same positions from the neutral zone with small arms and grenade launchers.
"The enemy employed machine guns near Zaitseve from the villages of Holmovskyi and Novhorodske (from a position located southeast of the village). In the latter case, the terrorists' rifle team attempted to approach the Ukrainian troops' positions. The attempt was quelled by the fire of the ATO forces. The retreat of the militants was covered with APC-mounted guns.
"The militants attacked the Ukrainian strong points to the south and east of Rozsadky village from the directions of Sanzharivka and Veselohorivka with machine guns and AGS-17 grenade launchers.
"The Ukrainian troops' stronghold east of Starohnativka was subjected to the machine gun fire from the direction of Starolaspa. The terrorists also used SPG-9 grenade launchers against the same stronghold from the Bila Kamianka village.
"Two ATO forces' checkpoints were shelled with 82-mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns from the militants' positions near Kominternove. In particular, the firing positions were equipped by the militants on the south-western and western outskirts of Kominternove," Information Resistance group coordinator wrote.
