Poroshenko Bloc faction chairman Yurii Lutsenko says the parliament lacks 226 votes to support bills suggested by Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk, which means the incapacity of the coalition.

He stated this at the end of coalition council meeting, Censor.NET reports referring to Ukrinform.

"Today, we have the situation where the parliament no longer has 226 votes for the adoption of important laws aimed at the European integration, economic development... We (Poroshenko Bloc) are ready to work with Yatseniuk, though it's not easy, but we believe that this is only possible in the case of radical government rebooting. Unfortunately, other factions say they do not consider this to be a way out. The number of deputies in these factions suggests that the coalition is ineffective if it does not vote," Lutsenko said.

According to Lutsenko, People's Front sees only Yatseniuk as prime minister, while Batkivshchyna, Samopomіch, and Radical Party categorically exclude Yatseniuk as head of the Cabinet.

"Poroshenko Bloc faction has never put ultimatums, trying to find some solution instead ... What shall we do? Find a way out without ultimatums. Obviously, we have to meet and try to find common ground," Lutsenko summed up.
