‘DPR’ terrorists sentenced Azov soldier Chudnetsov to 30 years in prison

Ukrainian prisoner in the Donbas, Azov regiment soldier Yevhen Chudnetsov has been sentenced to 30 years in a penal colony (plus two more years of imprisonment) by the ‘DPR’ terrorists.

Censor.NET reports citing Novaya Gazeta.

Relatives of the prisoner could not get to the court because the hearing started half an hour earlier. During the session, a 'prosecutor' demanded death penalty for Yevhen - an execution by firing squad. Now the prosecution and Chudnetsov (who was not provided with a lawyer) may appeal the verdict to a higher court.

Chudnetsov was captured in Shyrokyne in February 2015. Earlier, Yevhen Chudnetsov was considered missing in action.
