Situation in the area of the ATO (anti-terrorist operation) remains tense. Over the past 24 hours, militants violated the truce for about 47 times firing at the Army’s positions.

According to the report, the day began with the shelling of Ukrainian strongholds at Krasnohorivka village by the terrorists with 82 mm and 120 mm mortars.

Situation is traditionally tense in the vicinity of Donetsk. The ATO forces' positions at Avdiivka, Marinka, Pisky, Opytne and the Butovka mine were fired from small arms and grenade launchers.

In the vicinity of temporarily occupied Horlivka, the terrorists fired at Ukrainian positions at Troitske from small arms and heavy machine guns, while Novhorodske village was shelled with grenade launchers and IFV weapons.

Ukrainian strongholds at Zaitseve and Maiorsk were once again shelled with mortars.
