Yatseniuk opens first IT incubator in Ukraine

Arsenii Yatseniuk has opened the first non-profit 1991 Open Data Incubator of IT projects in Ukraine.

The even took place on Saturday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"This country has all the chances to become leader in Europe as we have the most important potential - the intellect. If 10 years ago everyone thought that the most important potential was gas or oil, now look at the prices and ask the Russians. Earlier, the whole world thought that the main assets were money and factories... Now I believe that the intellect and talent are capable of developing all the rest," Yatsenyuk said.

Ukraine could become a leader in Europe as it has strong and intelligent young people capable of bringing the country to the forefront in the future.

According to him, every person with ideas, intelligence, talent and desire is the driver in contemporary world. He urged those present not to stop with self-development because "if everyone makes himself or herself, we will make our country."

"We should not wait and think that someone would come and change something. You do not wait, do you? You do it yourself. And if we move along... Ukraine will become the leader," he concluded.
