 Anti-Corruption Bureau to question Abromavicius Feb. 8

The National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine summons Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius for questioning Feb. 8.

National Anti-corruption Bureau employee Daria Manzhura told Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET reports.

"We are waiting for him Feb. 8. The detectives have passed down the summons through his secretary, as he himself was not at his workplace Thursday," she said.

The exact time of the questioning is still unknown.

It should be reminded that the Anti-corruption Bureau launched investigation into the statements by Abromavicius regarding abuse of office by MP Ihor Kononenko (Poroshenko Bloc faction). Earlier Abromavicius accused Kononenko of impeding the activity of the Economy Ministry and its head. Abromavicius subsequently resigned.
