As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in its report as of 6 a.m. Feb. 4, posted on Facebook.
According to the HQ, at Donetsk direction the enemy used grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns to shell ATO forces' defensive installations in Maiorsk, Novhorodske, Luhanske, Avdiivka, Marinka, Pisky, Opytne, and Butivka mine. Ukrainian positions near Kirove and Pervomaiske were fired at with mortars.
At Mariupol direction, Ukrainian strong points near Hnutove and Lomakyne were shelled with 82-mm and 120-mm mortars. Positions near Lomakyne were also sprayed with an anti-aircraft mount and an anti-tank missile system: "Our defensive installations in Krasnohorivka were fired at by the enemy with 82-mm mortars."
As reported, the HQ informed of Russian supervisors' arrival to the territory of the so-called "Luhansk People's Republic." They are accompanied by a group of officers of the General Staff of the Russian Federation, which came to verify combat readiness and skills of the illegal armed groups.
"In violation of the Minsk agreements, the militants of the illegal armed groups have launched 60 shells from 82-mm mortars in the direction of Triokhizbenka village to demonstrate their combat skills. Accurate fire of automatic grenade launchers, high-caliber machine guns and 82-mm mortars was provided at the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions from the direction of Krasnyi Lyman.
"120-mm mortar shells launched from Mykolaivka were also recorded impacting Stanytsia Luhanska. This "demonstration" was carried out between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
"It should be noted that these attacks were committed deliberately, in order to demonstrate the Kremlin masters their readiness to continue the escalation of the conflict in the Donbas at any time," the HQ added.
