In 2015, a roadmap was created with an aim to reform the Defense Ministry and the General Staff until 2018 and 2020 respectively.

The Cabinet of Ministers claims 138 new military commissariats were established in 2015. This is stated in its report on the progress and results of the implementation of 2015 Action Program, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBusinessInform.

"Pre-military training and mobilization system saw the establishment of 138 new military commissariats," the report notes.

The committee on defense reforms based on NATO countries experience is to be set up.

As reported, the Defense Ministry has dismissed 120 military commissioners in 2015.

Also, in 2015, 18 new weapons and military equipment entered into service, Ukrainski Novyny informs.

"Upon the results of tests in 2015, 18 new weapons and military equipment were put into service," the report reads.

As also reported, in 2015, 4,714 items of new and modernized weapons and military equipment were supplied to the army, as well as 401,500 pieces of ammunition and 14,982 sets of keys to the means of cryptographic protection of information.

Army repair crews and state-owned enterprises repaired more than 34,000 pieces of weapons.

In 2015, the Armed Forces received about 98,600 armored vests, 99,600 kevlar helmets, 336,400 sets of summer field suits, 310,000 pairs of boots, 216,700 insulated jackets, 122,700 waterproof suits, and 100,700 sleeping bags.Источник: https://en.censor.net.ua/n372156
