Samopomich remains in coalition, advocates PM’s resignation, - MP Bereziuk

Samopomich parliamentary faction leader Oleh Bereziuk urges his counterparts to hold the Coalition Council to discuss the Cabinet reshuffle in the near future.

"If we gather together and start talks at the Coalition Council tomorrow, we will certainly find these three names," he said on air of Svoboda Slova TV program on Monday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

According to Bereziuk, Samopomich members are convinced that it is necessary to substitute Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk, who has lost the trust of the Ukrainian people.

"We should be locked in seclusion for one, two, three, four days, and without being permitted to leave until the 'white smoke'. I am convinced that we would have found a solution critical for Ukraine if four or five leaders of the factions gathered together and put the ambitions of the state above their personal ones," he added.

He also said that his party was committed to stay in the coalition and ready to participate in such discussions.
