 28 people apprehended in special operation in Shchastia, - SBU head adviser Tandit

28 people were seized by the SBU in a special operation in Shchastia, the Luhansk region, on Jan. 31.

SBU head adviser Yurii Tandit said, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine TV channel.

According to him, SBU operatives had a preventive talk with each person and released all of them. This was the second raid by the SBU in January.

"Ties with illegal military groups is not a crime or violation of law. The key thing is to prevent these people from committing crimes in the future. They are warned about being watched," Tandit said.

As previously reported, the SBU apprehended several people in Zolote, suspected of having links with militants.
