Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.
"At 9:10 p.m. on Jan. 28, pro-Russian militants of the so-called 'DPR' shelled Ukrainian checkpoint Marinka with IFV weapons and grenade launchers. The Ukrainian stronghold at Maiorsk was mortared on Jan. 30 at 10:20 p.m.," the report reads.
"Since the number of provocative attacks by pro-Russian militants has significantly increased in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian authorities consider a possibility of temporary closure of the checkpoints. International organizations involved in monitoring of the implementation of the Minsk Agreements were informed about the decision," the press service wrote.
