 Situation under Army's control, nine militants’ attacks recorded in M sector, – M sector speaker Kindsfater

On Jan. 30, terrorists fired at the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces’ positions for nine times along the front line in the Mariupol sector.

Speaker of the M sector Oleksandr Kindsfater told 112 Ukraina, Censor.NET reports.

"In the Mariupol sector, nine militants' attacks on Ukrainian positions at Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novotroitske, Shyrokyne were recorded over the past 24 hours. Pro-Russian militants fired at the Army's strongholds from small arms, automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, anti-aircraft guns, and sniper rifles," Kindsfater reported.

Because of the direct threat to life of military personnel, Ukrainian soldiers opened fire from small arms about five times. "There are no victims of the attacks reported," Kindsfater added.

Moreover, a militants' drone was spotted near Shyrokyne yesterday.

"The most recent shelling was carried out by the militants today near Krasnohorivka village at 3 a.m. As for now, the Army controls the situation in the area," Kindsfater summarized.
