Pechersk court lifted arrest of former Ecology Minister Zlochevskyi's property

The Pechersk district court of Kyiv has lifted arrest of land, houses, and a Rolls-Royse Phantom owned by ex-Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mykola Zlochevskyi.

This is stated in court's decision of Dec. 25, 2015, promulgated in the Unified State Register of Judgments, Censor.NET informs referring to Ukrainski Novyny.

The arrest was imposed on Feb. 2, 2015 in the framework of criminal proceedings instituted on Aug. 5, 2014 on the basis of illegal enrichment.

As reported, the lifting of arrest is explained by the fact the ex-minister can not be considered a person with a procedural status of suspect, since he was not directly served a notice of suspicion but through a lawyer.
