 “All political forces must unite to resist aggression. I will not allow relapse of old errors,” - Poroshenko

President Petro Poroshenko called on all Ukrainian political forces for unity to counter Russian aggression.

The president said holding the "lesson of courage" in the Kyiv Military Lyceum named after Ivan Bohun, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

He noted that the lack of internal cohesion to counter the Russian threat in 1917-1921 had resulted in the loss of independence by Ukraine.

"I demand the coalition, the opposition, and non-parliamentary forces to learn it (history lesson). As the president, I will not allow relapse of old errors," Poroshenko said.

He added that Ukraine had strengthened its army and should gradually become a strong state ready for any threats, as it would face lots of ones in the future.
