"The number of attacks has increased and the territory of hostilities is expanding. At the same time, inviting our soldiers to fire in response, the terrorists commit attacks on the peaceful neighborhoods," the statement reads.

The ATO press center informs that the Kremlin mercenaries fired at the Marinka checkpoint of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine using IFV hull-mounted gun and automatic grenade launcher at 9:10 p.m.: "According to the situation report, the militants are also planning to commit similar provocations against other checkpoints, in particular at the Artemivsk direction."

"This is another proof that peace-building in the Donbas does not fit in with the criminal intentions of the militants and their Kremlin masters," the headquarters summed up.
