The law has been adopted as amended by the Committee on Rules and Activity Management of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. From now on, the rules include a regulation stipulating that draft amendments to the Constitution which had been adopted in the first reading during one regular session and not considered as a whole at the next regular session can be considered during a regular session that follows that one. This means that the term for consideration of amendments to the Constitution as a whole has been extended to two sessions after the one during which an amendment had been adopted in the first reading.
