As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO press center in its report as of 6 a.m. Jan. 26, posted on Facebook.
"Opytne, Pisky, Luhanske, Novhorodske, Zaitseve, Marinka: the enemy was conducting fire at our strong points near these villages. It was the hottest near the Donetsk airport again. The enemy shelled Ukrainian positions from small arms, large-caliber machine guns, and grenade launchers of various systems. At around 11 p.m. [yesterday] pro-Russian mercenaries were firing at our strong point near Pisky from a tank," the message reads.
In addition, the HQ noted that it was unquiet near temporarily occupied Horlivka, the Donetsk region. The militants were shelling the ATO forces' positions there from various weapons near Novhorodske and Zaitseve.
The total of 44 cases of the cease-fire violations were recorded in the ATO area yesterday, the HQ summed up.
