The Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people is ready to provide the Council of Europe's human rights monitoring mission in the Russian-annexed Crimea with information on violations in this area.

Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Ilmi Umerov said on air of 5 Channel, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"Speaking of the Council of Europe mission, we are ready to meet with them," Umerov said.

At the same moment, he noted he had no detailed information on the mission's work. According to Umerov, if the mission wants to meet with Mejlis representatives, they will provide it with information on human rights violations on the peninsula.
