 Pro-Russian terrorists shelled ATO forces 29 times yesterday; anti-aircraft mount used near Marinka, - HQ

Situation remains tense in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in the east of Ukraine. Despite agreements on the conflict settlement, the enemy continues to shell Ukrainian positions using various kinds of weapons.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO HQ's report as of 6 a.m. Jan. 25, 2016, posted on Facebook.

"A stronhold near Marinka was fired at by the enemy from a grenade launcher and small arms, as well as an anti-aircraft mount. In the Donetsk airport area pro-Russian militants shelled our strong points in Opytne and Pisky with grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms. An enemy sniper was aiming at the Ukrainian army positions near Novhorodske," the report reads.

The HQ also noted that it was unquiet near Avdiivka, where invaders used an automated grenade launcher and small arms to fire at the ATO strong points.

The total of 29 cases of shelling of the Ukrainian army positions by pro-Russian mercenaries were recorded yesterday, according to the press center of the anti-terrorist operation.
