 New army field rations to be dished up in Defense Ministry’s dining facility, - Minister Poltorak

Samples of the new field rations will undergo "quality test" in the officers' mess of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak said today, Jan. 22, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Head of the Subsistence Support Department of the Centre for the Development and Provisioning of Material Needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vadym Staroshchuk presented samples of the new field rations.

Minister Poltorak proposed to conduct an experiment in response: "We should put them up for sale and if they meet with a ready market sale, we will sign a contract with the supplier," he stressed.
