Samopomich disseats its minister but not quits coalition, faction head Bereziuk says

The recall of Samopomich party member from the current composition of the Cabinet of Ministers does not evidence that the parliamentary faction pulls out from the coalition.

Leader of the Samopomich faction Oleh Bereziuk said on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reports.

"That's why we took this absolutely constitutional political step - declared recall of our minister so that we sit down together and review the coalition agreement with respect to responsibilities including the organizational ones and move forward in the development of the state without leaving the coalition (I stress that we want and will work on the development of the state and consider the coalition to be the main tool for this development today)," Bereziuk said.

"If the coalition and the parliament understand that the trust of the people depends on their efficient and concrete actions, the coalition will hold a meeting as soon as possible to transparently discuss this issue and take appropriate decisions. The political force believes that this government has fulfilled its task as of today and we should move on," the head of the faction said.

According to Samopomich, the budget is actually the government's performance indicator and "the government, unfortunately, has not passed this state exam, taking into account the adoption of the state budget."
