 Samopomich withdraws Minister Pavlenko from Cabinet proposing to form new government

Samopomich parliamentary faction withdraws its member Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksii Pavlenko from his office.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the political party.

"The Ukrainian government is in deep, systemic while such its state is the matter of the national security today. The weak, corrupt and incapable of decisive reform, the Ukrainian government is the main advantage of the enemy with its eye toward destruction of our country.

"Like most of the citizens of Ukraine, we are dissatisfied with the activity of the Ukrainian government and do not intend to legitimize its further existence by our presence in such a government.

"The Cabinet of Ministers is a source of the multi-billion dollar corruption practices today. The budget for 2016 has all the signs that it will be another year of large-scale embezzlement of budget funds. Taking into account these circumstances, the political council of the Samopomich party has decided to withdraw its minister from the government of Arsenii Yatseniuk," the statement reads.

Samopomich has also offered the parties-members of the parliamentary coalition to create a new coalition agreement and form a new government.

It should be noted that the Samopomich party is represented by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Oleksii Pavlenko in the active Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
